- If you open it, CLOSE IT.
- If you turn it on, TURN IT OFF.
- If you unlock it, LOCK IT.
- If you break it, FIX IT.
- If you can’t fix it, PLAN ON REPLACING IT.
- If you borrow it, RETURN IT.
- If you use it, TAKE CARE OF IT.
- If you make a mess, CLEAN IT UP.
- If you move it, PUT IT BACK.
- If it belongs to someone else, GET PERMISSION TO USE IT.
- If you don’t know how to operate it, LEAVE IT ALONE.

If student damages or destroys property belonging to the Homestay, student is required to replace damaged or destroyed property within 30 days, at student's expense.
If student decides not to replace damaged or destroyed property within that 30-day period, Homestay will replace and charge student Time and Travel expenses (minimum 1 hour @ $40.00 per hour) in addition to cost of item.
